Some internet advertising media are working well for this business some not, if you are adventurous you may try to use them, always carefully. It is very easy to lose money on the internet.

The solution are so called key code's, or tracking codes.

How this works.

For example, you are advertising using 5 different media, because you are spending money and effort you would like to know the return from each campaign.

You can add tracking codes to your promotional url, for example: http://www.vemmabuilder.com/YourVemmaID/CAMP1,
or
http://www.vemmabuilder.com/YourVemmaID/CAMP3

Then on your genealogy you can see CAMP1, CAMP2, CAMP3, etc, attached to pre-enrollees that you sponsored.

This way you can very closely track the yield achieved from every advertising dollar you spend, and concentrate only on the best performing advertising campaign.

Suggestions for places to advertise:-

Pay Per Click search engines.

If you are not familiar with this type of advertisement please visit http://www.google.com/ads/ or http://searchmarketing.yahoo.com/ , basically you need to open an account with them, deposit a small amount of money and you can start bidding on specific keywords related to your business.

(Important note:- ALWAYS start bidding very low, and then you can gradually increase your bid to suit the requirement, don't let the search engine set-up your bids to first place, this can be very expensive and not necessary productive).

Yahoo.com and Google.com this are the biggest ones, the bids are typically high, but as well this is large traffic flow.
There are as well smaller search engines that you can use.
The bids will be very low but the traffic will be often in proportion.
Again by using tracking codes you can very quickly asses results from your advertising dollars.

There are hundreds if not thousands of others.

You can try to place an add or banner (banners are available on goveema.com website) on any website with traffic, some are overpriced but you can as well find excellent bargains.

In general, don't try big sites; CNN, ABC, etc. where advertising prices are sky high, crafted for big corporate customers, but some reasonable busy regional/community websites can be very happy with extra cash, from your small advertising budget.
